PENGARUH TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT TERHADAP DEFECT PRODUK PADA LABELLING AND PACKAGING DEPARTMENT DI PT. GREAT GIANT PINEAPPLE LAMPUNG TENGAH

Abstract

Total Quality Management adalah proses perbaikan secara berkesinambungan dalam suatu tahapan produksi didalam mencapai kepuasan dari pelanggan baik secara internal (next proces) maupun external (customer), untuk setiap faktor pendukung produksi, Man, Metode, Material, Machine dan Environment. Yang didalam aplikasinya akan mempengaruhi defect produk nanas kaleng.

            Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Total Quality Management terhadap defect produk, di Labelling & Packaging Department, PT. Great Giant Pineapple.

            Alat analisis yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah analisis rank spearman untuk mengetahui variable Total Quality Management terhadap Defect produk.

            Berdasarkan dari perhitungan menggunakan program SPSS bahwa variable Total Quality Management mempunyai korelasi atau hubungan dengan variable Defect produk. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Total Quality Management berpengaruh terhadap Defect produk .
