PERAN MEDIASI MOTIVASI KERJA PADA PENGARUH DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA DOSEN
Abstract
Sumber daya manusia (SDM) memainkan peran penting dalam sektor pendidikan, berfungsi sebagai landasan untuk mencapai pendidikan berkualitas dan efektivitas kelembagaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja berkontribusi terhadap kinerja dosen, yang berpotensi bertindak sebagai elemen dasar yang mendukung efektivitas dosen yang termotivasi. Penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan penulis adalah penelitian kuantitatif Asosiatif dengan pendekatan kausal Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Dosen Fakultas ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pamulang PSDKU Serang yang berjumlah 56 responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Dosen yang berjumlah 56 Semua Dosen Pada Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis dimasukan kedalam sampel responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan adalah sampling jenuh/total. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert 1-5 dengan menggunakan metode skala likert yaitu sangat tidak setuju, tidak setuju, ragu-ragu, setuju, dan sangat setuju. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Regresi Linier dan analisis Jalur dengan menggunakan Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan disiplin kerja mempengaruhi kinerja dosen, disiplin kerja mempengaruhi motivasi kerja, motivasi kerja mempengaruhi kinerja dosen, motivasi kerja memediasi pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja dosen. Institusi pendidikan hendaknya merancang program yang mendorong disiplin kerja di kalangan dosen, seperti pelatihan dan workshop yang menekankan pentingnya disiplin dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan.
